What role will groups like the University Faculty Senate or Staff Advisory Council play in the search process?

Just as the input of individual students, faculty, staff, alumni and other stakeholders served an important role in the Next Gen Penn State listening process, so too did the feedback of a wide variety of University groups as representatives of their communities at Penn State. As part of the listening process this spring, members of the Next Gen Penn State Advisory Board met in small-group sessions with members of the President’s Council, Council of Academic Deans, Council of Campus Chancellors, Emeriti Trustees, University Faculty Senate, Student Leaders Roundtable, Staff Advisory Council, Alumni Council Executive Board, President’s Commissions for Equity and others. In addition, the representation of the Next Gen Penn State Advisory Board includes, for example, the chair-elect of University Faculty Senate, along with a variety of other students, faculty, staff, administrators and community members from across the University.
